Summary: My husband and I are from this area but live out of state. Twice a year we gather with our family (locals) staying in different VRBO’s and usually in the mountains, but decided this time it was way too crowed with tourists and we wanted convenience and the lake. Oh my gosh. THIS was the way to go!!! BY FAR, this was the cleanest and best home we had rented! I love great showers, elbow room (space) and great air conditioning in the TN summers. We hit the trifecta! The grands LOVED the dock and swimming in the lake. One of the kids actually caught a 5lb catfish! Eagles appeared in the morning. The sunrise was just gorgeous. I do not think we had ever eaten so many s’mores before. The home sits at the end of the street - we felt completely secluded from crowds. I do not think there was anything needed in this home. Inside games, were plentiful, Wi-Fi was strong. The home was (as one of the children claimed) ‘FANCY!”. For those wanting a vacation in the Smokey’s, do not dismiss this home. Straight shot on hwy 321 to all things Smokey’s or bypass the crowds and head further south to Cherohala Skyway. If you know, you know- Tellico Village IS convenient to everything! THANK YOU Jay and Mei Ling for offering such a wonderful home to stay in!!!!!! Cannot wait to return and more- what a relief it is that I do not even have to think of where we will stay!
